Lakefront Brewery

Hey it's cold out there, again! Hope you are staying warm crochet friends.

I don't know if you know this, but I got a job at Lakefront Brewery a couple months ago. If you don't know who they are, please check them out and drink their beer! I've been enjoying their beer for over 15 years and they celebrated their 30th Anniversary in December!

This is Russ the owner and Co-Founder of Lakefront. He's a great guy.

I'm part of their Tour group, right now I serve beer, sell tickets, check IDs and make sure everyone is enjoying some nice Lakefront beer. Not a bad job. It's part time and I'm loving it. Right now I'm also training to become a tour guide. Hope to see you there some day and maybe be on one of my tours.

Hello everyone welcome to another calendar year!

Anyone have any resolutions they want to work on? Me, more posts for my lovely crochet fans. And trying to clean and organize all my belongings. I'm trying to reduce the number of items in my life. It's hard, I like all my stuff.

Real Men Learn New Musicals

We started rehearsal for a brand new musical at First Stage Children's Theater.



I'm really excited about it. The story is fun and the music is awesome. The cast is great!

I didn't even know there was a day to celebrate puzzles. I try to celebrate jigsaw puzzles every time I clear off the dining room table. But today take some time to tease your brain or complete a crossword. Keep those brain cells working!

Real Men Put Together Puzzles

I love thrift stores and puzzles.

I found this great puzzle at a St. Vincent De Paul's in Madison the other day. To find a location near you follow this link: Find Store Now!

It's my favorite kind of puzzle made by Springbok and it only cost 40 cents! The puzzle pieces are never the same shape and they interlock together so well that you can pick the whole puzzle up without it falling apart. If you find these the older vintage ones, they have printed on the back of the box either a little story or a poem about the picture. It's that little added detail I love about Sprinkbok.

I cleaned my bagless vacuum the other week. Took apart the dirt container, washed everything with warm water and soap. And then cleaned out the sponge filter that collects small particles, not the HEPA filter, with warm water and soap. I used Mrs. Meyers Basel scented soap. So when I use my vacuum I get a nice Basil smell.

In honor of tonight's first "Packer Fans from Outer Space" performance for an audience, I want to say it will be an Egg-cellent show! (Check out the link to the right for more info.)

That goes out to the pun loving writers of the show, Doc Heide and Lee Becker. I thought they might like that.

And if you go through Egg Harbor, check out all the fabulous eggs on display by local artists. They are calling it their EGG-stravaganza. I'm not sure how many there are, but you can find them all over town. This packer edition is in front of the restaurant, Shipwrecked.

Opening Night!

It's opening night at American Folklore Theatre!

We are back under the stars on the outdoor amphitheater in the Peninsula State Park.

This years world premiere is:
