Opening Night

This Friday American Folklore Theatre will open their new show Life on the Mississippi. I play the role of Samuel Clemens, later Mark Twain, as he begins his journey of learning to be a riverboat pilot and writer. We had a successful preview last night, with a loving audience and beautiful weather. We all hope it lasts, but you never know up here in Door County.

I bet you have been wondering and yes we are selling our hats again. One hat sold as Molly was setting up the display.

I hope you all can make the show.

  1. I'm really excited to see the show this summer! I've been going to AFT for at least six years now, since about sixth grade, and I've recently learned how to crochet because I love your flower cloches so much.Did you come up with the pattern yourself?

  2. It's based off a pattern we found and then modified for our needs. Thanks for your comment. Hope you enjoy the show.
