Happy National Puzzle Day!

I didn't even know there was a day to celebrate puzzles. I try to celebrate jigsaw puzzles every time I clear off the dining room table. But today take some time to tease your brain or complete a crossword. Keep those brain cells working!

Here are some teasers for start you off: Click here for Puzzles!

Real Men Put Together Puzzles

I love thrift stores and puzzles.

I found this great puzzle at a St. Vincent De Paul's in Madison the other day. To find a location near you follow this link: Find Store Now!

It's my favorite kind of puzzle made by Springbok and it only cost 40 cents! The puzzle pieces are never the same shape and they interlock together so well that you can pick the whole puzzle up without it falling apart. If you find these the older vintage ones, they have printed on the back of the box either a little story or a poem about the picture. It's that little added detail I love about Sprinkbok.

Real Men Make Videos

I don't know if many of you know this, but for some time I've been working with local theatres of Milwaukee and Madison, producing marketing videos.

The latest video is for Forward Theater's latest production: The FLICK

It's directed by my lovely wife Molly!

Check out the video, then check out buying a ticket to the show!

THE FLICK

THE STORY

In a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts, three underpaid employees mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state. Amidst the daily drudgery, they navigate the small triumphs and heartbreaking moments that are the substance of our daily lives. Issues of race, class, family, and sex underline this awkward, funny, and incredibly touching play. With keen insight and a finely-tuned comic eye, The Flick is a hilarious and poignant cry for authenticity in a fast-changing world.

Real Men Clean

I love me my cleaners. And these are my favorite.

Check out method: http://methodhome.com/

Better Life is great on any fabrics: http://www.cleanhappens.com/#

No harsh chemicals and safe to use around children. Plus I like how they smell.

I'm also a fan of Mrs. Meyer's soaps: https://www.mrsmeyers.com/

I cleaned my bagless vacuum the other week. Took apart the dirt container, washed everything with warm water and soap. And then cleaned out the sponge filter that collects small particles, not the HEPA filter, with warm water and soap. I used Mrs. Meyers Basel scented soap. So when I use my vacuum I get a nice Basil smell.

Happy cleaning.
